There is no night without a dawning,
No winter without a Spring,
And beyond death’s dark horizon
Our hearts once more will sing.
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless careworn world
Into a Brighter day.
We hold you close within our hearts, And there you shall remain, To walk with us throughout our lives, Until we meet again. So rest in peace dear loved one And thanks for all you’ve done, We pray that God has given you, The crown you’ve truly won.
Thou hast made us O Lord, for Thyself and our hearts shall find no rest till they rest in Thee.
We did not see you close your eyes,
We did not see you die,
All we knew was that you were gone,
Without a last goodbye,
It was a sudden parting,
Too bitter to forget,
Only those who loved you,
Are the ones who will never forget.
The happy hours we once enjoyed,
How sweet their memory still,
But death has left a vacant place,
This world can never fill.
Your life was one of kindly deeds,
A helping hand for other’s needs,
Sincere and true in heart and mind,
Beautiful memories left behind.
You can only have one mother
Patient kind and true;
No other friend in all the world,
Will be the same to you.
When other friends forsake you,
To mother you will return,
For all her loving kindness,
She asks nothing in return.
As we look upon her picture,
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine,
And a smile for one and all.
Sweet Jesus, take this message,
To our dear mother up above;
Tell her how we miss her,
And give her all our love. your life was love and labour,
Your love for your family true;
You did your best for all of us,
We will always remember you.
Safely Home.
I am at home in Heaven, dear ones,
Oh, so happy and so bright, There is perfect joy and beauty,
In this everlasting Light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless yearning passed,
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly,
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh, but Jesus love illumined,
Every dark and fearful glade.
And he came Himself to meet me,
In that way so hard to tread,
And with Jesus’ arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread.
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still,
Try to look beyond earth’s shadows,
Pray to trust Our Father’s Will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand,
Do it now while life remaineth,
You shall rest in Jesus’ Land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home,
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come
Miss me but let me go.
When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me but let me go.
For this journey we all must take,
And each must go alone,
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrow
in doing good deeds,
Miss me but let me go.
I’m Free
Don’t grieve for me,
for now I’m Free.
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard Him call;
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play,
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that place at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow,
My life’s been full, I’ve savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now,
He set me free.
They say there is a reason,
They say that time will heal,
But neither time or reason,
Will change the way we feel,
For no one knows the heartache,
That lies beyond our smiles,
But neither time or reason,
Will change the way we feel,
For no one knows the heartache,
That lies beyond our smiles,
No one knows how many times,
We have broken down and cried,
We want to tell you something,
So there won’t be any doubt,
You’re so wonderful to think of,
But so hard to be without.
We cannot bring the old days back,
When we were all together,
The family chain is broken now,
But memories live forever
God’s Garden
God looked around His Garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest,
God’s Garden Must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered “Peace Be Thine”
It breaks our hearts to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Thou hast made us O Lord,
for Thyself and our hearts shall find no rest till they rest in Thee.
We did not see you close your eyes,
We did not see you die,
All we knew was that you were gone,
Without a last goodbye,
It was a sudden parting,
Too bitter to forget,
Only those who loved you,
Are the ones who will never forget.
The happy hours we once enjoyed,
How sweet their memory still,
But death has left a vacant place,
This world can never fill.
Your life was one of kindly deeds,
A helping hand for other’s needs,
Sincere and true in heart and mind,
Beautiful memories left behind.
O sweet Jesus, for the sake of Thy Bitter Passion and the sorrows of Thy Immaculate Mother,
have mercy on his soul,
and let the light of Thy Countenance shine upon him.
It was a sudden parting,
Too bitter to forget,
Those who loved your dearly,
Are the ones who can’t forget.
We often sit and think about you,
And think of how you died,
To think you could not say goodbye,
Before you closed your eyes.
Your life was one of kindly deeds,
A helping hand for other’s needs,
Sincere and true in heart and mind,
Beautiful memories left behind.
The blow was hard, the shock severe,
To part with one we loved so dear,
Our loss is great, we’ll not complain,
But trust in God to meet again.
Two tired eyes are sleeping,
Two willing hands are still;
The one who worked so hard for us,
Is resting at God’s Will.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The links shall join again.
We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed and sore;
We did our duty to the end,
`Til we could do no more.
In tears we watched you sinking
We watched you fade away;
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.
You left behind some aching hearts,
That loved you most sincere;
We never shall and never will,
Forget you mother dear.
For many years the family chain,
Was closely linked together;
But, oh, that chain is broken now,
The main link gone forever.
The sunshine of our happy home,
Must always clouded be;
But Thou, O Lord has sent this cross,
We bear it all for Thee.
O Jesus in Thy infinite mercy and through the prayers of the Blessed Mother of Sorrows, have compassion on the poor suffering souls in Purgatory:
Oh! bring comfort to them in their pains, shorten their exile and conduct them finally into Thy Heavenly Kingdom, where with Thy Saints and Angels they shall praise and glorify Thee for all eternity.
Gone from our home that smiling face,
The cheerful happy ways,
The heart that won so many friends,
In bygone happy days.
Lonely is the home without you,
Life to us is not the same;
All the world would be like Heaven,
If we could have you back again.
In dreams we see her smiling face,
And kiss her tender brow,
But our aching hearts we know,
We have no mother now.
The voice is now silent, the heart now cold,
The smile and the welcome that met us of old,
We miss her and mourn her in sorrow unseen,
And dwell on the memory of the days that have been.
We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed and sore;
We did our duty to the end,
‘Till we could do no more.
In tears we watched you sinking,
We watched you fade away;
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.
You left behind some aching hearts,
That loved you most sincere;
We never shall and never will
Forget you mother dear.
MY JESUS MERCY!
We lost a father with a heart of gold,
How much we miss him can never be told,
He shared our troubles and helped us along,
If we follow his footsteps we can never go wrong
We miss you from your fireside chair,
Your loving smile and gentle air,
Your vacant place no one can fill,
We miss you father and always will,
He was a father so very rare,
Content in his home and always there,
On earth he toiled, in heaven, he rests
God bless you father, you were one of the best.
Each time we look at your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
Don’t be sad but courage take,
And love each other for my sake.
O sweet Jesus, for the sake of Thy Bitter Passion and the sorrow of Thy Immaculate Mother, have mercy on his soul, and let the light of Thy Countenance shine upon him. Amen.
I’m only a Whisper away
Come, dry your tears and smile again,
I’m only a whisper away.
Near in the dusk of the evening,
Just out of sight through the day;
Watching you walking and sleeping,
Hearing each prayer that you pray,
Sending my love to surround you,
I’m only a whisper away.
Come, dry your tears, and smile again,
Remember the good times, we’ve known,
Cherish the joy we discovered
And the love that was planted and grown.
Your road may seem lonely ahead,
And distant horizons look grey,
But you won’t be walking alone,
because I’m only a whisper away.
A bouquet of beautiful memories,
Sprayed with a million tears,
Wishing God could have spared you,
If just for a few more years.
It does not take a special day,
For us to think of you,
Each Mass we hear, each prayer we say,
Is offered up for you.
We cannot bring the old days back,
When we were all together,
The family chain is broken now,
But memories live forever.
It was a sudden parting,
Too bitter to forget,
Only those who loved you,
Are the ones who will never forget.
May he rest in peace, dear Jesus,
In Thy heavenly home above,
With the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
In His own eternal love.
Along the road to yesterday,
That leads us straight to you,
Are memories of happy days,
Together we once knew.
The blow was hard, the shock severe,
To part with one we loved so dear,
Our loss is great, we’ll not complain,
But trust in God to meet again.
A silent grief that’s in our hearts,
No human eye can trace,
For many a broken heart is hid,
Beneath a smiling face.
Softly in the morning
You heard a gentle call,
You took the hand God offered you,
And quietly left us all.
The day you left us father,
Our hearts just broke in two,
The smallest part is still with us,
And the biggest part with you.
we will miss you father,
Our secret tears still flow,
Oh, how we really loved you,
No one will ever know.
We miss your smile, your joking ways,
We miss the things, you used to say,
And when old times we do recall,
It’s then we miss you most of all.
You were always there when we needed you,
No task too great or small,
With loving heart and willing hands,
For us you did it all.
Look around Your garden Lord,
And when he turns and smiles,
Put Your arms around him,
And hold him for a while
Jesus walked with his beautiful Mother,
In the Heavenly Gardens one day,
He looked down at millions of children,
Sleeping, toddling or at play.
And then he saw little …….. (name) Like a flower,
unique and rear
He spoke to Mary about him,
isn’t he lovely and fair?
Isn’t he a lovely baby?
Isn’t he cuddly and sweet?
Wouldn’t it be nice to have him,
Playing all day round our feet.
The Holy Ghost,
in his wisdom, was silent,
As he saw (name) so sweet and pure Yes!
how wonderful to have him,
But his family will miss him for sure.
The blessed Virgin said his mother loves him
Her family does too,
But ill mind him and keep him safe,
Wrapped up in my mantle of blue.
We Give Our Loved Ones Back to God
We give our loved ones back to God
And just as he first gave Them to us
And did not lose them In the giving
So we have not lost them In returning them to Him
For life is eternal Love is immortal
Death is only a horizon
And a horizon is nothing But the limit
Of our earthly sight.
Lonely is the home without you, Life to us is not the same;
All the world would be like heaven,
If we could have you back again.
A light is from our household gone,
A voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home,
That never can be filled.
May the God of Love and Mercy,
Care our loved one who is gone,
And bless with consolation,
Those left to carry on.
The happy hours we once enjoyed,
How sweet their memory still,
But death has left a vacant place,
This world could never fill.
How dearly we loved you,
And prayed you might live,
But Jesus just beckoned,
And we had to give
God gave us strength to bear it,
And courage to fight the blow,
What it has meant to lose you,
God alone will ever know.
PERHAPS
PERHAPS, if we could see
The splendor of the land
To which you were called from us WE’D UNDERSTAND.
PERHAPS, if we could hear
The welcome she received From old familiar voices- all so dear
WE WOULD NOT GRIEVE.
PERHAPS, if we could know
The reason why she went
We’d smile –and wipe away the tears that flow
WE’D WAIT CONTENT.
The Lord’s my Shepherd,
I’ll not want. He makes me down to lie
In pastures green;
He leadeth me The quiet waters by.
My soul He doth restore again;
And me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness,
Even for His own Name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale,
Yet will I fear no ill;
For Thou art with me;
and Thy rod And staff my comfort still.
My table Thou hast furnished
In presence of my foes;
My head Thou dost with oil anoint,
And my cup overflows.
Goodness and mercy all my life Shall surely follow me;
And in God’s house forevermore My dwelling place shall be.
The Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother.
To thee I come, before
thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen.
Road to Eternity
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A Resting place along the road,
To Sweet Eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant
To learn some things,
But never meant to stay.
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know,
For some the journey’s quicker,
For some the journey’s slow.
But when the journey finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord.
Your life was love and labour,
Your love for your family true;
You did your best for all of us,
We will always remember you.
Look at life with eyes that see,
the good and not the bad.
Cherish in your memory
the glad times not the sad.
WHEN I LEAVE
Family and friends,
I am about to leave,
my last breath does not say “goodbye” for my love for you is truly timeless.
I leave myself to your memory with love.
I leave my thoughts, my laughter, my dreams to you whom I have treasured.
I give what no thief can steal,
the memories or our times together; the tender love-filled moments,
the music, song and dance, the successes we have shared,
the hard times that brought us closer together and the roads we have walked side by side.
I also leave you a solemn promise that after I am home in the bosom of God, I will still be present in the communion of Saints,
whenever and wherever you call on me.
My spirit will be drawn to you by the magnet or our love.
Whenever you are in need, call me; I will come to you, with my arms full of wisdom and light to open up your blocked paths,
to untangle your knots and to be your avenue to God,
and all I take with me as I leave is your love and the millions of memories of all that we have shared.
So fear not nor grieve my departure,
you whom I have loved so much,
for my roots and yours are forever intertwined.
What she suffered she told but few,
She did not deserve what she went through,
Tired and weary she made no fuss,
But tried so hard to stay with us.
Two tired eyes are sleeping,
Two willing hands are still;
The one who worked so hard for us,
Is resting at God’s Will.
Our lips cannot speak how we loved her,
Our hearts cannot tell what to say;
But God only knows how we miss her,
In our home that is lonely today.
Your life was love and labour,
Your love for your family true;
You did your best for all of us,
We will always remember you.
In a near and silent graveyard,
Where the trees their branches wave,
Sleeps a kind and loving mother,
In her cold and lonely grave.
She bade no one a last farewell,
She raised her hand to none;
Her spirit flew before she knew,
That she from us had gone.
When I must leave you for a little while,
Please do not grieve and shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years.
But start out bravely with a gallant smile;
And for my sake and in my name
Live on and do all things the same,
Feed not your loneliness on empty days,
But fill each waking hour in useful ways,
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer,
And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near;
And never, never be afraid to die, f
or I am waiting for you in the sky!
Don’t think of him as gone away ,
his journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets ,
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting,
from the sorrows and the tears,
in a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days or years.
Think how we must be wishing,
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness,
can really pass away.
And think of him as living,
in the hearts of those he touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and he was loved so much.
There’s not a day that passes
That I don’t sit and cry,
And look to Heaven for a reason
But still I don’t know why.
Couldn’t he have waited Another year or two,
Until you were a little older
And I’d had more time with you.
Forgive me,
Lord, I then say,
All these thoughts are wrong,
There had to be a reason,
And I know I must be strong.
You’re in the arms of Jesus now And I know that you’ll be fine,
But I wish with all my heart,
That those arms could be mine.
Gods Lent Child
“I’ll lend you for a little while, a child of mine, God said,
“For you to love while she lives, and mourn
for when she’s dead.
It may be six or seven years, or forty-two or three.
But will you, till I call her back, take care of her for me?
She’ll bring her charms to gladden you and
should her stay be brief,
You’ll always have her memories as a solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return
But there are lessons taught below I want this child to learn.
I’ve looked this whole world over in my search for teachers true, And from the folks that crowd life’s lane, I have chosen you.”
“Now will you give her all your love nor think the labour vain,
Nor hate me when I come to take this lent child back again?”
I fancied that I heard her say, “dear Lord Thy Will be done.
For all the joys Thy child will bring, the risk of grief we’ll run. We’ll shelter her with tenderness, we’ll love her while we may, And for the happiness we’ve known forever grateful stay.
But should the Angels come for her much sooner than we’ve planned,
We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.
” MALE OR FEMALE
Lonely is the home without you,
Life to us is not the same;
All the world would be like heaven,
If we could have you back again.
What he suffered he told but a few,

Our lips cannot speak how we loved him,
Our hearts cannot tell what we say,
But God only knows how we miss him,
In our home that is lonely today.
Pray for us O dearest father,
To Jesus Christ, Our King,
That He may bless our lonely home Where thou once dwelt therein,
And pray that God may give us strength,
To bear our heavy cross;
For no one knows but only He,
The treasure we have lost.
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path
of his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and
saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned
the LORD about it.
“LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
You’d walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why when I needed
You most You would leave me”.
The LORD replied, “My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you”.

Prayer for the Holy Souls in Purgatory O God,
the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful grant,
to the souls of Thy servants departed,
the full remission of their sins,
that through pious supplications they may obtain the pardon which they have always desired.
Who livest and reignest world without end.
Amen
Distance takes us far apart,
And darkens my today.
I have to keep remembering –
You’re just a thought away.
When the world is too confusing,
Times are hard to bear,
I pull your precious meaning,
Your bright spirit, from the air.
If I sometimes drift into A lonely state of mind,
I gather up the memories Of days we left behind.
And though you’re not beside me,
I can tap into my heart,
And draw upon the warmth and love,
That lives when we’re apart.
And with these fond reflections
On the times when you were near,
I sense a little bit of what
It’s like to have you here.
As each day dawns we think of you;
As each night falls we pray for you;
And throughout our lives no matter where;
In our hearts you
are always there.
The family of the late
name ______________
Thank you most sincerely for the sympathy,
kindness and support shown to us
at the time of Josephine’s death
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
God called your name so softly
That only you could hear
And no one heard the footsteps of angels drawing near
The golden gate stood open God saw you needed rest
His garden must be beautiful He only takes the best.
Death is not extinguishing the light,
But putting out the lamp because the Dawn has come.
Those who die in grace
go no further from us
than God
and God is very near.
God’s Colours
Imagine how the world would look,
If nothing had colour,
The only difference we would see,
Would be bright, dull or duller.
Imagine looking at the sky,
No colour to be seen,
And grass and trees and branches,
Would be colourless, not green.
So thank you God for colours,
For rainbows and for flowers,
For colouring books and crayons,
That keep us quiet for hours.
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Whatever we were to each other that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Laugh as we always laughed,
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be the household word that it always was.
let it be spoken without effort,
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was;
there is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of your mind
because I am out of your sight?
I am but waiting for you,
for an interval,
somewhere very near,
just around the corner.
All is well.
Nothing is past; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before – only better,
infinitely happier and for ever –
we will be one together in Christ.
Dad, you went so fast and sudden,
Your wish it did come true,
But we often sit and think of you,
and think of how you died.
To think you could not say Goodbye,
Before you closed you eyes.
We sat beside your bedside,
We watched you fade away,
And while our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay
Two tired eyes are sleeping,
Two willing hands are still:
The one who worked so hard for us
Is resting at God’s Will.
I am home in heaven, dear ones;
oh, so happy and so bright!
There is a perfect joy and beauty,
in the everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
safely home in heaven at last.
There is work still waiting for you,
so you must not idly stand,
do it now, while life remaineth
you shall rest in God’s own land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you home; oh,
the rapture of that meeting oh,
the joy to see you come!
A Place Where Children Are
What kind of place would heaven be,
With all its streets of gold,
If all the souls, that dwell up there,
Like yours and mine, were old?
How strange would heaven’s music sound,
When harps begin to ring,
If children were not gathered ‘round,
To help the angels sing.
The children that God sends to us,
Are only just a loan,
He knows we need their sunshine,
To make the house a home.
We need the inspiration,
Of a baby’s blessed smile,
He doesn’t say they’ve come to stay,
Just lends them for a while.
Sometimes it takes them years,
To do the work for which they come,
Sometimes in just a month or two,
Our Father calls them home.
I like to think some souls up there,
Bear not one sinful scar,
I love to think of heaven as,
A place where children are.
Name —–
For you to stay,
To god we did pray,
As we watched you slowly slip away.
But our hearts were broken beyond repair,
When you were taken, from our care.
We love you now, And we always will,
As your place in our lives lies still…… so still.
Please come to meet us, On our final day,
And together,
In God’s love we’ll stay.
An Eternal Memory of a Special Dad.
You made the world a better place in your own special way
and you’re still loved so very much and missed more every day.
Your leaving caused a lot of tears and so much grieving too it was the hardest thing of all to say goodbye to you.
You gave your love until one day you heard the angels call and above us now in heaven lives the best Dad of them all.
As we look upon your picture,
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine,
And a smile for one and all.
“If we could push ajar the gates of life,
And stand within, and all God’s working see,
We might interpret all this doubt and strife,
And for each mystery could find a key.
But not today.
Then be content, poor heart;
God’s plans, like lilies pure and white,
unfold. we must not tear the close-shut leaves apart
Time will reveal the calyxes of gold.
And if, through patient toil, we reach the land,
Where tired feet, with sandals loosed, may rest,
When we shall clearly know and understand,
I think that we shall say, “God knew best”
A smile for all,
a heart of gold,
One of the best,
this world could hold,
Never selfish, always kind,
Those are the memories you left behind.
We speak your name,
With love and pride,
We smile through tears,
We try to hide;
We thank you for,
The years we shared,
The love you gave,
And the way you cared.
Deep in our hearts,
You will always stay,
Loved and remembered, Every day.
My life is but a weaving Between my Lord and me,
I cannot choose the colours He worketh steadily.
Of times He weaveth sorrow And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper And I the underside.
Not until the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful in the weaver’s skilful hand
As the threads of gold and silver in the pattern
He has planned.
He knows,
He loves,
He cares,
Nothing the truth can dim,
He gives the very best to those who leave the choice to Him.
Please don’t be unhappy,
Because I’m out of sight,
For I will be beside you,
Every morning, noon and night.
When tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came
and called my name,
And took me by the hand.
I know how much you love me,
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right here in your heart.
St. Anthony of Padua.
St. Anthony,
special friend of Jesus.
I call upon you this day to be my
special friend here on earth,
today and all the days of my life.
I ask you to be my special protector and I place all my thoughts,
words and deeds in your sight.
I ask you to be my guide and guardian
so I may please Jesus in all
I do and say.
St. Anthony Pray For Us.
Perhaps you sent a lovely card,
Or sat quietly in a chair,
Perhaps you sent a funeral spray,
If so, we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words,
As any friend could say,
Perhaps you were not there at all,
Just thought of us that day,
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you, so very much, whatever the part.
